On August 1, 1968, the Republic of China was approved to establish the Siaosin branch of Qieba National Primary School at the current location, with a total of four classes from grades one to four.
On February 24, 1969, the new school building was completed and students moved in to attend classes.
It was granted independence on August 1, 1970, and was renamed Siaosin Elementary School, Shanhua Town, Tainan County.
On August 29, 1970, the first principal, Mr. Ouyang Qing, took office.
In July of the 1971s, the school’s first graduation ceremony was held.
On August 1, the 1979s, the school's independent kindergarten class began to enroll students.
In May of the 2021s, it was moved from Siaosin to Liantanli to build the Siaosin school building.
On October 12, 2023, the school was completed and moved back to Siaosin.
