About Siaosin

**On August 1, 1968**, the Republic of China was approved to establish the Siaosin branch of Qieba National Primary School at the current location, with a total of four classes from grades one to four.

**On February 24, 1969**, the new school building was completed and students moved in to attend classes.

It was granted independence on **August 1, 1970**, and was renamed Siaosin Elementary School, Shanhua Town, Tainan County.

On **August 29, 1970**, the first principal, Mr. Ouyang Qing, took office.  
 In **July of the 1971s**, the school’s first graduation ceremony was held.  
 On **August 1, the 1979s**, the school's independent kindergarten class began to enroll students.

In **May of the 2021s**, it was moved from Siaosin to Liantanli to build the Siaosin school building.  
 On **October 12, 2023**, the school was completed and moved back to Siaosin.
